Design of fractional-order controllers for simultaneous control of Mean Arterial Blood Pressure and Cardiac Output: a simulation study
Shaival H. Nagarsheth, Shambhu N. Sharma

TL;DR
This paper introduces a fractional-order control framework for simultaneously regulating Mean Arterial Blood Pressure and Cardiac Output, offering a novel approach to blood pressure management through simulation.
Contribution
It proposes a new fractional-order control method for multi-variable blood pressure regulation, differing from traditional control strategies.
Findings
Effective control of MABP and CO in simulations
Demonstrates advantages of fractional-order controllers
Provides a new perspective on blood pressure regulation
Abstract
This paper presents a fractional-order framework for control of blood pressure. A new perspective is explored to control the blood pressure in lieu of the conventional control framework. A multi-variable scenario is adopted to control two outputs: Mean Arterial Blood Pressure (MABP) and Cardiac Output (CO) simultaneously.
