TL;DR
This paper employs light-cone sum rules to analyze decay properties of P-wave bottom baryons, proposing a new partner state and providing detailed decay channel insights for these heavy baryons.
Contribution
It extends previous work by studying decay modes into ground-state baryons and vector mesons, and predicts a new partner state with specific decay channels.
Findings
Identifies decay properties of P-wave bottom baryons using light-cone sum rules.
Predicts a new $ ext{Xi}_b(5/2)^-$ state with a specific mass and decay mode.
Provides detailed decay channel analysis for bottom baryons.
Abstract
We use the method of light-cone sum rules to study decay properties of -wave bottom baryons belonging to the flavor representation. In Ref.~\cite{Cui:2019dzj} we have studied their mass spectrum and pionic decays, and found that the and can be well interpreted as -wave bottom baryons of . In this paper we further study their decays into ground-state bottom baryons and vector mesons. We propose to search for a new state , that is the partner state of the , in the decay process. Its mass is ~MeV larger than that of the .
