Radiative quark $p_\perp$-broadening in a quark-gluon plasma at RHIC and LHC energies
B.G. Zakharov

TL;DR
This paper investigates how radiative effects influence the transverse momentum broadening of fast quarks in quark-gluon plasma, revealing a negative correction at energies relevant to RHIC and LHC.
Contribution
It extends previous studies by calculating the radiative correction beyond the soft gluon approximation for high-energy quark propagation in quark-gluon plasma.
Findings
Radiative correction to quark $p_ot$-broadening is negative.
The correction is significant for RHIC and LHC energies.
Results go beyond the soft gluon approximation.
Abstract
We study the radiative correction to -broadening of a fast quark in a quark-gluon plasma beyond the soft gluon approximation. We find that the radiative contribution to quark for RHIC and LHC conditions is negative.
