Fritz Colonius, Jo\~ao A.N. Cossich, Alexandre J. Santana

TL;DR
This paper characterizes controllability properties of linear discrete-time systems, identifies a unique control set with nonempty interior, and derives a formula for its invariance pressure, especially in the hyperbolic case.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive characterization of controllability and invariance pressure for linear discrete-time systems, including the existence and boundedness of a unique control set.
Findings
Existence of a unique control set with nonempty interior
Boundedness of the control set in the hyperbolic case
Derivation of a formula for invariance pressure
Abstract
For linear control systems in discrete time controllability properties are characterized. In particular, a unique control set with nonvoid interior exists and it is bounded in the hyperbolic case. Then a formula for the invariance pressure of this control set is proved.
