Absence of point spectrum for the self-dual extended Harper's model
Rui Han

TL;DR
This paper provides a straightforward proof that the self-dual extended Harper's model lacks point spectrum, offering a sharper result in the isotropic self-dual case than previous work.
Contribution
It introduces a simplified proof technique that improves the known results on the spectral properties of the self-dual extended Harper's model.
Findings
Proves absence of point spectrum in the self-dual regime.
Sharpens previous spectral results in the isotropic case.
Simplifies the proof of spectral properties.
Abstract
We give a simple proof of absence of point spectrum for the self-dual extended Harper's model. We get a sharp result which improves that of Avila-Jitomirskaya-Marx in the isotropic self-dual regime.
