Algebraic K-theory of generalized free products and functors Nil
Pierre Vogel

TL;DR
This paper extends algebraic K-theory results for generalized free products, explores properties of Nil functors, and constructs new groups with trivial Whitehead groups, advancing understanding in algebraic topology.
Contribution
It generalizes Waldhausen's algebraic K-theory results and analyzes Nil functors, leading to new groups with trivial Whitehead groups.
Findings
Extended Waldhausen's results to broader settings
Analyzed properties of Nil functors
Constructed new groups with trivial Whitehead groups
Abstract
In this paper, we extend Waldhausen's results on algebraic K-theory of generalized free produts in a more general setting and we give some properties of the Nil functors. As a consequence, we get new groups with trivial Whitehead groups.
