TL;DR
This paper explores AC charge transport in holographic Horndeski gravity, revealing a metal-semiconductor transition influenced by the Horndeski coupling and fitting data with the Drude formula in slow relaxation regimes.
Contribution
It introduces the study of AC charge transport in holographic Horndeski gravity and uncovers a transition driven by the Horndeski coupling, with numerical data fitted by the Drude formula.
Findings
Identification of a metal-semiconductor like transition
Fitting of numerical data with Drude formula
Influence of Horndeski coupling on charge transport
Abstract
In this paper, we investigate the AC charge transport in the holographic Horndeski gravity and identify a metal-semiconductor like transition that is driven by the Horndeski coupling. Moreover, we fit our numeric data by the Drude formula in slow relaxation cases.
