Byung-Geel Yu, Kook-Jin Kong

TL;DR
This paper analyzes the photoproduction of the $f_1(1285)$ and $ ext{eta'}(958)$ mesons using CLAS data, employing the Regge model and exploring the Primakoff effect at high energies to understand production mechanisms.
Contribution
It introduces a combined analysis of $f_1(1285)$ and $ ext{eta'}$ photoproduction, highlighting the role of virtual photon exchange similar to Pomeron exchange at high energies.
Findings
$ ho^0(770)$ exchange dominates over $ ext{omega}(782)$ in $f_1$ production.
The Primakoff effect is significant in meson photoproduction at high energies.
Virtual photon exchange plays a role similar to Pomeron exchange up to $ ext{sqrt}(s) ext{~}250$ GeV.
Abstract
We investigate photoproduction of axial vector meson based on the CLAS experiment using the Regge model for exchanges. The combined analysis of reaction including is accompanied to evaluate the decay mode from the potential overlap with the reaction. The predominance of exchange over the with the coupling constant extracted from the CLAS experiment leads to a good description of the measured cross sections for , while the scale of the cross section is corrected by the branching fraction , and , respectively. As an extension to study the nonmesonic production mechanism, the Primakoff effect by the virtual photon exchange is…
