TL;DR
This paper investigates axial-vector mesons in Coulomb-gauge QCD, focusing on quark mass dependence, radial excitations, and the insensitivity to chiral symmetry breaking within a simplified closed-channel framework.
Contribution
It provides a detailed analysis of pure quark-antiquark axial-vector mesons and their mixing behavior across different quark masses in the Coulomb-gauge QCD model.
Findings
Axial-vector meson properties vary with quark mass.
Radial excitations show specific spectral patterns.
Insensitivity to chiral symmetry breaking in certain regimes.
Abstract
We discuss pure axial-vector mesons in the Tamm-Dancoff approximation of the Coulomb-gauge QCD model from NCSU. While recent studies have put emphasis in configuration mixing with open meson-meson channels, we here concentrate on the simpler closed-channel problem and follow the mixing through a wide range of quark masses. We also examine their radial excitations and discuss with them the concept of insensitivity to chiral symmetry breaking.
