TL;DR
This paper calculates quadrupole moments of baryons using a QCD parameterization method, deriving relations to predict difficult-to-measure moments, thus advancing understanding of baryon structure.
Contribution
It introduces a novel application of Morpurgo's QCD parameterization to baryon quadrupole moments and derives predictive relations among them.
Findings
Derived relations among decuplet and transition quadrupole moments.
Predicted $$ quadrupole moments for baryons.
Provided a method to estimate moments hard to measure experimentally.
Abstract
Quadrupole moments of decuplet baryons and the octet-decuplet transition quadrupole moments are calculated using Morpurgo's general QCD parameterization method. Certain relations among the decuplet and the octet to decuplet transition quadrupole moments are derived. These can be used to predict the quadrupole moments which are difficult to measure.
