Stable bound orbits around a supersymmetric black lens
Shinya Tomizawa, Takahisa Igata

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates the existence of stable bound particle orbits in a five-dimensional black lens spacetime, contrasting with the known absence of such orbits in higher-dimensional Schwarzschild black holes.
Contribution
It reveals stable bound orbits in a five-dimensional black lens, a novel finding differing from traditional higher-dimensional black hole models.
Findings
Stable bound orbits exist in five-dimensional black lens spacetimes.
Contrast with Schwarzschild black holes where no stable bound orbits are found.
Highlights unique gravitational properties of black lens geometries.
Abstract
In higher-dimensional Schwarzschild black hole spacetimes, there are no stable bound orbits of particles. In contrast to this, it is shown that there are stable bound orbits in a five-dimensional black lens spacetime.
