Coherence of quantum Gaussian channels
Jianwei Xu

TL;DR
This paper develops a resource theory framework for quantifying the coherence of quantum Gaussian channels, introducing new definitions for incoherent channels and superchannels to advance understanding of quantum coherence in continuous-variable systems.
Contribution
It introduces the first resource theory for Gaussian channel coherence, defining incoherent channels and superchannels to quantify coherence in quantum communication.
Findings
Defined incoherent Gaussian channels and superchannels.
Established a framework for quantifying coherence in Gaussian channels.
Laid groundwork for future coherence-based quantum information protocols.
Abstract
Coherence is a basic notion for quantum states. Instead of quantum states, in this work, We establish a resource theory for quantifying the coherence of Gaussian channels. To do this, we propose the definitions of incoherent Gaussian channels and incoherent Gaussian superchannels.
