## TL;DR

This paper details the characterization and performance analysis of a new data acquisition system implemented in the aSPECT experiment to enhance high-precision measurements of electron-antineutrino correlations.

## Contribution

It introduces a novel data acquisition system and evaluates its behavior within the aSPECT experiment setup.

## Key findings

- Successful implementation of the new acquisition system.
- Improved data quality and system stability during beam time.
- Enhanced precision in measuring the electron-antineutrino correlation coefficient.

## Abstract

From April 2013 to the beginning of August 2013, the aSPECT spectrometer was installed on a cold neutron beam facility at the Institut Laue-Langevin (ILL) in order to realize a high-precision measurement of the electron-antineutrino angular correlation coefficient a. Among all the upgrades that were made during the past years, a new state-of-the-art acquisition system has been tested during this beam time. This internship report details the behavior of this new system.
