## TL;DR

This paper investigates handle slide operations on delta-matroids and proves that only binary delta-matroids are closed under these operations, highlighting a unique structural property.

## Contribution

The work characterizes the class of delta-matroids closed under handle slides, establishing binary delta-matroids as the only such class.

## Key findings

- Binary delta-matroids are uniquely closed under handle slides.
- Handle slides preserve the class of binary delta-matroids.
- No other delta-matroid classes are closed under handle slides.

## Abstract

In this work, we study the operations of handle slides introduced recently for delta-matroids by Iain Moffatt and Eunice Mphako-Banda. We then prove that the class of binary delta-matroids is the only class of delta-matroids closed under handle slides.
