## TL;DR

This paper advances the theory of stability-preserving mechanisms in school choice, resolving open problems and introducing new solutions to enhance the understanding of stable matching algorithms.

## Contribution

It extends the stability-preserving school choice model by solving several open problems and proposing new ones, deepening theoretical insights.

## Key findings

- Resolved multiple open problems from prior work
- Introduced new stability-preserving mechanisms
- Enhanced theoretical understanding of stable matchings

## Abstract

We build on the stability-preserving school choice model introduced and studied recently in [MV18]. We settle several of their open problems and we define and solve a couple of new ones.
