## TL;DR

This paper introduces a compact group approach for analyzing the dielectric and optical properties of finely dispersed, homogeneous, and isotropic systems of dielectric particles in a matrix, focusing on effective permittivity and light scattering.

## Contribution

The paper develops and applies a novel compact group method to evaluate dielectric and optical characteristics of dispersed systems, providing a new analytical framework.

## Key findings

- Effective permittivity calculations for dispersed systems
- Analysis of light scattering intensity
- Method applicability to homogeneous isotropic systems

## Abstract

We present the compact group approach to analysis of the long-wavelength dielectric and optical characteristics of substances which can be modeled as macroscopically homogeneous and isotropic systems of hard dielectric particles embedded into a dielectric matrix. After the basics of the method are outlined, we discuss the results obtained with it for the effective permittivity of such systems and the single-scattering intensity of light scattered by them.
