Satvir Kaur, Harleen Dahiya

TL;DR
This paper investigates the spin-spin correlations between quarks and a fermion system using a light-cone quark-diquark model, analyzing different polarization states and diquark contributions in various planes.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed calculation of quark spin correlations considering scalar and axial-vector diquarks within the light-cone framework, providing new insights into spin structure.
Findings
Spin-spin correlations for u and d quarks are mapped in impact-parameter and momentum planes.
The model accounts for different polarization configurations and diquark types.
Results enhance understanding of quark spin dynamics in composite systems.
Abstract
We study the correlation between the fermion composite system and quark spins by using the light-cone quark-diquark model. We do the calculations for -quark and -quark in the fermion system by considering the different polarization configrations of both. The contribution from scalar and axial-vector diquarks is taken into account. The overlap represenation of light-front wavefunctions is used for the calculations. The spin-spin correlations for and quarks are presented in transverse impact-parameter plane and transverse momentum plane as well.
