## TL;DR

This paper investigates how gravitational waves behave in a molecular medium, revealing dispersion, additional polarization modes, and providing quantitative estimates of these effects.

## Contribution

It introduces the analysis of gravitational wave propagation in molecular matter, highlighting dispersion and extra polarizations not previously emphasized.

## Key findings

- Dispersion of gravitational waves in molecular media
- Emergence of three extra polarization modes
- Quantitative estimates of the effects

## Abstract

We analyze the propagation of gravitational waves in a molecular matter medium: our findings demonstrate that dispersion only is expected, together with the emergence of three extra polarizations, able to induce longitudinal stresses. We also give quantitative estimates of the predicted effects.
