## TL;DR

This paper presents a collection of open problems in wavelet theory, surveys their current status, and provides an affirmative answer to Larson's problem for MRA wavelets.

## Contribution

It compiles and discusses key open problems in wavelet theory and resolves Larson's problem for MRA wavelets.

## Key findings

- Larson's problem has an affirmative answer for MRA wavelets
- Survey of current status of open problems in wavelet theory
- Highlights areas needing further research

## Abstract

We present a collection of easily stated open problems in wavelet theory and we survey the current status of answering them. This includes a problem of Larson on minimally supported frequency wavelets. We show that it has an affirmative answer for MRA wavelets.
