## TL;DR

This paper investigates the Blume-Emery-Griffiths model on hypercubic lattices using a two-particle cluster approximation, deriving pair correlation functions and calculating static susceptibility for different interaction parameters.

## Contribution

It introduces a method to derive pair correlation functions in $f{k}$-space and computes static susceptibility for the model with various anisotropy and interaction values.

## Key findings

- Derived explicit expressions for pair correlation functions in $f{k}$-space.
- Calculated static susceptibility at $f{k}=0$ for different model parameters.
- Analyzed effects of single-ion anisotropy and biquadratic interaction on susceptibility.

## Abstract

The Blume-Emery-Griffiths model on hypercubic lattices within the two-particle cluster approximation is investigated. The expressions for the pair correlation functions in $\bf{k}$-space are derived. On the basis of obtained results (at $\bf{k}=0$) the static susceptibility of this model on the simple cubic lattice is calculated at various values of the single-ion anisotropy and biquadratic interaction.
