## TL;DR

Fruitbat is an open-source Python package that simplifies estimating redshifts, energies, and galactic dispersion measures of fast radio bursts by integrating multiple models into a user-friendly API.

## Contribution

It introduces a unified Python tool that combines various DM and redshift relations with galactic models for easier FRB analysis.

## Key findings

- Provides accurate redshift estimates for FRBs
- Integrates multiple models into a single API
- Facilitates rapid analysis of FRB data

## Abstract

Fruitbat is an open source Python 2/3 package for estimating redshifts, energies and the galactic dispersion measure contributions of fast radio bursts (FRBs). Fruitbat combines various dispersion measure (DM) and redshift relations with the YMW16 galactic dispersion measure model into a single easy to use API.
