## TL;DR

This paper presents an asymptotic solution for the axisymmetric squeeze flow of a Hershel--Bulkley viscoplastic fluid, extending previous asymptotic techniques to this specific non-Newtonian fluid behavior.

## Contribution

It introduces a novel asymptotic approach tailored for the axisymmetric squeeze flow of Hershel--Bulkley fluids, building on earlier methods for different fluid types.

## Key findings

- Derived an asymptotic solution for Hershel--Bulkley squeeze flow.
- Extended existing asymptotic techniques to viscoplastic fluids.
- Provides analytical insights into complex non-Newtonian flow behavior.

## Abstract

We develop an asymptotic solution for the axisymmetric squeeze flow of a viscoplastic Hershel--Bulkley medium following the asymptotic technique suggested earlier by Balmforth and Craster (1999) and Frigaard and Ryan (2004).
