TL;DR
This paper revisits weighted Hardy-type inequalities using a straightforward approach to obtain explicit constants and extends the discussion to power weighted Birman-Hardy-Rellich inequalities, including an operator-valued version.
Contribution
It introduces an elementary method for deriving explicit constants in weighted Hardy inequalities and extends these results to operator-valued inequalities.
Findings
Explicit constants for weighted Hardy inequalities derived
Extension to power weighted Birman-Hardy-Rellich inequalities
Operator-valued version of inequalities developed
Abstract
We revisit weighted Hardy-type inequalities employing an elementary ad hoc approach that yields explicit constants. We also discuss the infinite sequence of power weighted Birman-Hardy-Rellich-type inequalities and derive an operator-valued version thereof.
