## TL;DR

This paper investigates how total and geometric phases in neutrino oscillations differ between Majorana and Dirac neutrinos, highlighting dependence on mixing matrix representation for Majorana types.

## Contribution

It reveals that the phases depend on the mixing matrix representation for Majorana neutrinos and differ from Dirac neutrinos, providing new insights into neutrino properties.

## Key findings

- Phases depend on mixing matrix representation for Majorana neutrinos
- Total and geometric phases differ between Majorana and Dirac neutrinos
- Neutrino phases are sensitive to the nature of neutrino mass type

## Abstract

The analysis of the total and geometric phases generated by the neutrino oscillation shows that these phases for Majorana neutrinos are depending on the representation of the mixing matrix and they are different from those of Dirac neutrinos.
