## TL;DR

This paper introduces new characterizations for the essential norms and compactness of generalized weighted composition operators acting between Zygmund type spaces, advancing understanding of their boundedness properties.

## Contribution

It provides novel criteria for boundedness, essential norms, and compactness of these operators, enhancing the theoretical framework in functional analysis.

## Key findings

- New criteria for boundedness of operators
- Characterizations of essential norms
- Conditions for compactness

## Abstract

We give different types of new characterizations for the boundedness and essential norms of generalized weighted composition operators between Zygmund type spaces. Consequently, we obtain new characterizations for the compactness of such operators.
