## TL;DR

This paper derives the formula for the periastron precession of a particle orbiting an extremal spherically symmetric dilaton black hole using phase-plane analysis of relativistic equations.

## Contribution

It provides a novel analytical approach to calculate periastron precession in dilaton black hole spacetimes, extending previous studies to this specific black hole model.

## Key findings

- Derived explicit formula for periastron precession
- Applied phase-plane analysis to relativistic equations
- Enhanced understanding of particle dynamics around dilaton black holes

## Abstract

The purpose of this article is to obtain the periastron precession of a free particle moving around an extremal spherically symmetric dilaton black hole. To get the formulae for the periastron precession we use the phase-plane analysis of the general relativistic equations of motion.
