TL;DR
This paper calculates decay widths of tau lepton processes involving omega and phi mesons using an extended NJL model, considering various intermediate states including a possible tetraquark candidate, and finds results consistent with experimental data.
Contribution
It introduces the tetraquark $K_{1}(1400)$ as an intermediate state in tau decays within the extended NJL model, providing new insights into meson structure and decay mechanisms.
Findings
Decay width for $ au o \omega(782) K^{-} u_{ au}$ matches experimental data.
Decay width for $ au o \phi(1020) K^{-} u_{ au}$ agrees within 1.3 sigma of experimental data.
Inclusion of the tetraquark $K_{1}(1400)$ as an intermediate state improves decay predictions.
Abstract
In the extended Nambu--Jona-Lasinio model, the decay widths of the processes were calculated. The intermediate strange quark-antiquark mesons in both the ground and the first radially excited states were taken into account. The meson , being a possible candidate for the role of the tetraquark meson, was also taken into account as an intermediate state. The result for the process is in satisfactory agreement with the experimental data. Simultaneously, the result for the decay is in agreement with the experimental data with precision .
