## TL;DR

This paper introduces a fractional approach to analyzing linked networks using outer product decomposition, discussing normalization methods and proposing new measures for bibliographic coupling.

## Contribution

It presents a novel fractional methodology for linked network analysis based on outer product decomposition and introduces alternative bibliographic coupling measures.

## Key findings

- Outer product decomposition for linked networks
- Discussion of standard and Newman's normalization
- Proposed new fractional bibliographic coupling measures

## Abstract

In this paper, we present the outer product decomposition of a product of compatible linked networks. It provides a foundation for the fractional approach in network analysis. We discuss the standard and Newman's normalization of networks. We propose some alternatives for fractional bibliographic coupling measures.
