## TL;DR

This paper reports the first measurement of the cross section for the process $e^+e^- o 3(\pi^+\pi^-)\pi^0$ in the 1.6 to 2.0 GeV energy range, revealing details of intermediate states using the CMD-3 detector.

## Contribution

It provides the first measurement of this process's cross section and analyzes intermediate states contributing to seven-pion production.

## Key findings

- First measurement of the cross section in the specified energy range.
- Identification of dominant intermediate states $2(\pi^+\pi^-)\omega$ and $2(\pi^+\pi^-)\eta$.
- Observation of 632±32 signal events.

## Abstract

The cross section of the process $e^+e^- \to 3(\pi^+\pi^-)\pi^0$ has been measured for the first time using a data sample of 56.7 pb$^{-1}$ collected with the CMD-3 detector at the VEPP-2000 $e^+e^-$ collider. 632$\pm$32 signal events have been selected in the center-of-mass energy range 1.6 -- 2.0 GeV. A study of dynamics of seven-pion production allows one to extract contributions of the dominated $2(\pi^+\pi^-)\omega$ and $2(\pi^+\pi^-)\eta$ intermediate states.
