## TL;DR

This paper formalizes a counterfactual communication protocol that extends previous work to new modes and enables sending superpositions, with an on-chip demonstration.

## Contribution

It introduces a formalization of Salih et al's protocol, expanding its applicability and demonstrating its feasibility on-chip.

## Key findings

- Protocol formalization for multiple modes
- Extension to superposition transmission
- On-chip implementation demonstration

## Abstract

We formalize Salih et al's Counterfactual Communication Protocol (arXiv2018), which allows it not only to be used in with other modes than polarization, but also for interesting extensions (e.g. sending superpositions from Bob to Alice).
