## TL;DR

This paper reviews the Wang-Yau quasilocal mass and evaluates it at null infinity in axially symmetric spacetimes using Bondi-van der Burg-Metzner coordinates.

## Contribution

It provides a specific evaluation of the Wang-Yau quasilocal mass at null infinity for axially symmetric spacetimes, extending understanding of quasilocal mass in this context.

## Key findings

- Evaluation of Wang-Yau mass at null infinity
- Application to axially symmetric spacetimes
- Insights into quasilocal mass behavior at infinity

## Abstract

We give a brief review of the definition of the Wang-Yau quasilocal mass and discuss the evaluation of which on surfaces of unit size at null infinity of an axi-symmetric spacetime in Bondi-van der Burg-Metzner coordinates.
