## TL;DR

This paper proposes that the Higgs scalar field from the standard model can prevent black hole singularities by violating the dominant energy condition, offering a new physics mechanism within known physics.

## Contribution

It introduces a novel approach where the Higgs field acts as a natural mechanism to avoid singularities in black holes, integrating particle physics with gravitational theory.

## Key findings

- Higgs field can violate the dominant energy condition
- Higgs sector provides a natural singularity avoidance mechanism
- Connects standard model physics with gravitational singularity resolution

## Abstract

Einstein gravitation is known to give rise to the formation of singularities at high densities unless the dominant energy condition is made invalid by the occurrence of new physics: we show that such a new physics can be the already present Higgs sector of the standard model of particle physics.
