## TL;DR

This paper reviews the potential for measuring CKM matrix elements and charm meson decays at LHCb, emphasizing the importance of ongoing searches for Lepton Non-Universality in the charm sector.

## Contribution

It provides an overview of experimental prospects for CKM element measurements and Lepton Non-Universality searches at LHCb, highlighting future research directions.

## Key findings

- Potential for precise CKM measurements at LHCb
- Current status of Lepton Non-Universality searches in charm
- Motivation for continued exploration of charm decays

## Abstract

We review the prospects of measurements of the CKM matrix elements corresponding to the first two generations of quarks, as well as measurements of leptonic and semileptonic charm meson decays at LHCb. We review the status of searches for Lepton Non-Universality in the charm sector, and provide motivation to continue such searches.
