## TL;DR

This paper extends sliding window detectors to multipulse scenarios using an order statistic approach, deriving a compact expression for false alarm probability to improve detection performance in Pareto background noise.

## Contribution

It introduces a novel order statistic variation of the multipulse constant false alarm rate detector and provides a mathematical expression for false alarm probability.

## Key findings

- Derived a compact expression for false alarm probability
- Extended detector analysis from single to multipulse cases
- Enhanced detection performance in Pareto background

## Abstract

In a recent study, the extension of sliding window detectors from the single to multipulse case has been considered. This short note continues the analysis of such detectors, and specifies an order statistic variation. The probability of false alarm is derived in a useful compact mathematical expression.
