## TL;DR

This paper reports measurements of vector boson production with heavy flavor quarks at the LHC using CMS data at multiple energies, comparing results with advanced Monte Carlo predictions to test the Standard Model.

## Contribution

It provides the first comprehensive comparison of vector boson plus heavy flavor quark production cross-sections across 7, 8, and 13 TeV energies with state-of-the-art simulations.

## Key findings

- Measured total and differential cross-sections at multiple energies.
- Good agreement with some Monte Carlo models, discrepancies with others.
- Enhanced understanding of heavy flavor production mechanisms.

## Abstract

In this paper, a brief outlook on the measurements of the total and differential cross-sections of vector bosons production associated with heavy flavor quarks performed using CMS proton-proton collision data taken at center of mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV is presented. Obtained results are compared with predictions of various state-of-the-art Monte-Carlo generators.
