## TL;DR

This paper compares the statistical power of high dimensional t-tests, sign tests, and signed rank tests for one-sample mean testing, revealing the signed rank test's advantages and limitations.

## Contribution

It provides a comparative analysis of the power of three high dimensional tests, highlighting the signed rank test's superior performance over t-tests but inferiority to sign tests.

## Key findings

- Signed rank test outperforms t-test in high dimensions
- Sign test is more powerful than signed rank test in high dimensions
- Guidance on test selection for high dimensional mean testing

## Abstract

In this paper, we propose a power comparison between high dimensional t-test, sign and signed rank test for the one sample mean test. We show that the high dimensional signed rank test is superior to a high dimensional t test, but inferior to a high dimensional sign test.
