Mark Andrea A. de Cataldo

TL;DR
This paper constructs a compactification of Dolbeault moduli spaces of Higgs bundles that works uniformly over families of projective manifolds and aligns with the Hitchin fibration.
Contribution
It introduces a new relative compactification of Dolbeault moduli spaces compatible with the Hitchin morphism for reductive groups.
Findings
Provides a method for compactifying Dolbeault moduli spaces
Ensures compatibility with the Hitchin morphism
Facilitates analysis of Higgs bundles in families
Abstract
