## TL;DR

This paper reviews the latest methods for extracting CKM matrix elements within the Standard Model using a global fit approach, emphasizing the use of the CKMfitter package and Rfit scheme for uncertainties.

## Contribution

It presents an updated methodology for combining experimental data and theoretical inputs to determine CKM matrix elements within a frequentist framework.

## Key findings

- Updated CKM matrix element values from global fit
- Improved handling of theoretical uncertainties with Rfit scheme
- Enhanced precision in CKM parameter extraction

## Abstract

I discuss the combination and extraction of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) matrix elements under the Standard Model (SM) framework from a global fit. The analysis shown here relies on the CKMfitter package, consisting in a frequentist approach that employs the Range fit (Rfit) scheme to handle theoretical uncertainties.
