TL;DR
This paper proposes a method to precisely determine flavor-dependent electroweak mixing angles at a super Z-factory by measuring asymmetries in the production of doubly heavy-flavored hadrons, improving accuracy over previous methods.
Contribution
It introduces a novel approach using asymmetry measurements of heavy hadrons at a super Z-factory to determine effective electroweak mixing angles for specific flavors.
Findings
Method allows precise flavor-dependent angle determination.
Reduces errors from flavor identification and thrust axis determination.
Enhances accuracy of Standard Model parameters.
Abstract
A proposal on determination of the effective electro-weak mixing angle at a super Z-factory (an collider designed with the possible highest luminosity and running around the center mass energy ) is proposed. It is to determine how the effective mixing angles depend on the flavors, especially the flavors , (with the determined effective ones, the electro-weak mixing angles of Standard Model can be derived out precisely). The key point of the proposal is that at such a super Z-factory, via measuring the forward-backward (), left-right () and combined left-right forward-backward () asymmetries of the produced doubly heavy-flavored hadrons (such as , and the baryons : , and etc) in the relevant production…
