Squeezed back-to-back correlation between bosons and antibosons with different in-medium masses in high-energy heavy-ion collisions
Peng-Zhi Xu, Wei-Ning Zhang, Yong Zhang

TL;DR
This paper derives formulas for the squeezed back-to-back correlation between bosons and antibosons with different in-medium masses in high-energy heavy-ion collisions, and investigates how mass differences affect these correlations.
Contribution
It introduces new formulas for SBBC involving different in-medium masses and applies them to D-meson pairs in heavy-ion collision simulations.
Findings
SBBC strengths differ for charged and neutral D-meson pairs due to charge-dependent in-medium interactions.
The in-medium mass difference influences the SBBC strength and pattern.
Results suggest potential experimental signatures of in-medium effects on boson-antiboson correlations.
Abstract
We derive the formulas of the squeezed back-to-back correlation (SBBC) between a boson and antiboson with different in-medium masses in high-energy heavy-ion collisions. The influence of the in-medium mass difference between a boson and antiboson on the SBBC is investigated. We calculate the SBBC functions of -meson pairs for the hydrodynamic sources described by the VISH2+1 code for Au+Au collisions at ~GeV. Our results indicate that the SBBC strengths of and are different if there are charge-dependent in-medium interactions.
