New entanglement-assisted MDS quantum codes from constacyclic codes
Mehmet E. Koroglu

TL;DR
This paper introduces eight new classes of entanglement-assisted quantum MDS codes derived from constacyclic codes, advancing quantum error correction capabilities.
Contribution
It presents a novel method using the decomposition of the defining set of constacyclic codes to construct new quantum MDS codes.
Findings
Eight new classes of entanglement-assisted quantum MDS codes are constructed.
The codes achieve optimal parameters for quantum error correction.
The method broadens the toolkit for designing quantum codes from classical codes.
Abstract
Construction of good quantum codes via classical codes is an important task for quantum information and quantum computing. In this work, by virtue of a decomposition of the defining set of constacyclic codes we have constructed eight new classes of entanglement-assisted quantum maximum distance separable codes.
