TL;DR
This paper introduces a unified framework for duality covariant higher derivative corrections in heterotic string theory, demonstrating the equivalence of existing approaches and extending them to higher orders.
Contribution
It provides a novel framework that unifies two main approaches to higher derivative corrections and extends their applicability to higher orders.
Findings
Proves the equivalence of the two main approaches.
Extends the correction framework to higher orders.
Provides a unified theoretical foundation.
Abstract
There are two main approaches to duality covariant first order higher derivative corrections to the heterotic string, one extending the duality structure and the other deforming the gauge transformations. In this paper we introduce a framework from which both approaches can be derived, proving their equivalence and extending them to higher orders.
