Probing anomalous top-Higgs couplings at the HL-LHC via $H\to WW^{\ast}$ decay channels
Yao-Bei Liu, Stefano Moretti

TL;DR
This paper investigates the potential to detect anomalous top-Higgs couplings at the HL-LHC through specific decay channels involving $H o WW^{ ext{*}}$, providing sensitivity estimates for rare top decay processes.
Contribution
It introduces a comprehensive simulation study of top-Higgs anomalous couplings via $H o WW^{ ext{*}}$ decay channels at the HL-LHC, with new sensitivity projections for rare top decays.
Findings
Probing $Br(t o uh)$ down to $1.17 imes 10^{-3}$ at 3σ in SS2L channel.
Probing $Br(t o ch)$ down to $1.56 imes 10^{-3}$ at 3σ in SS2L channel.
Enhanced sensitivity in 3L channel with limits of $7.1 imes 10^{-4}$ for $t o uh$.
Abstract
We study the prospects of probing the anomalous ~() couplings via SS2L or 3L signatures at the High Luminosity (HL-LHC) run of the 14 TeV CERN collider. We focus on signals of the associated production followed by the decay modes and , and production followed by the decay modes and , where . Based on two types of decay topologies, one assuming the semileptonic decay mode and the other the fully leptonic decay mode , we perform a full simulation for signals and backgrounds. It is shown that, at the future HL-LHC, the branching ratio can be probed to for the same-sign di-lepton channel…
