Wild pseudohyperbolic attractor in a four-dimensional Lorenz system
Sergey Gonchenko, Alexey Kazakov, Dmitry Turaev

TL;DR
This paper introduces a new wild pseudohyperbolic spiral attractor found in a four-dimensional extension of the Lorenz system, expanding understanding of complex chaotic dynamics.
Contribution
The paper presents the discovery of a novel wild pseudohyperbolic attractor in a four-dimensional Lorenz system extension, a new class of chaotic attractors.
Findings
Identification of a new wild pseudohyperbolic attractor
Extension of Lorenz system to four dimensions
Characterization of the attractor's chaotic properties
Abstract
We present an example of a new strange attractor which, as we show, belongs to a class of wild pseudohyperbolic spiral attractors. We find this attractor in a four-dimensional system of differential equations which can be represented as an extension of the Lorenz system.
