Abstract
Knowledge management has been described as getting the right knowledge to the right people in the right place at the right time. Knowledge dissemination is a crucial part of knowledge management because it ensures knowledge is available to those who need it. This paper reviews four well-known knowledge dissemination techniques. Each technique is classified according to a recently proposed classification scheme, and advice is given regarding when it is appropriate to use each technique.
