Fabio Bagarello, Francesco Gargano, Salvatore Spagnolo

TL;DR
This paper introduces bi-squeezed states linked to pseudo-bosons, exploring their mathematical properties and physical examples, expanding the understanding of non-Hermitian quantum systems.
Contribution
It presents a new class of quantum states called bi-squeezed states and analyzes their relation to regular and non-regular pseudo-bosons, highlighting their mathematical differences.
Findings
Bi-squeezed states are mathematically characterized.
Differences between regular and non-regular pseudo-bosons are clarified.
Physical examples illustrate the concepts.
Abstract
Extending our previous analysis on bi-coherent states, we introduce here a new class of quantum mechanical vectors, the \emph{bi-squeezed states}, and we deduce their main mathematical properties. We relate bi-squeezed states to the so-called regular and non regular pseudo-bosons. We show that these two cases are different, from a mathematical point of view. Some physical examples are considered.
