TL;DR
This paper reports the first observation of certain $D$ meson decays involving $K^0_S$, $ o ext{pi}^0$, $ ext{eta}^ extprime$, and provides an improved measurement of the $D^0 o K^- extpi^+ exteta}^ extprime$ decay branching fraction, using BESIII data.
Contribution
First observation of $D^0 o K^0_S extpi^0 exteta}^ extprime$ and $D^+ o K^0_S extpi^+ exteta}^ extprime$ decays, with improved precision on $D^0 o K^- extpi^+ exteta}^ extprime$ branching fraction.
Findings
Branching fractions measured with improved precision.
First observation of $D^0 o K^0_S extpi^0 exteta}^ extprime$ and $D^+ o K^0_S extpi^+ exteta}^ extprime$ decays.
Significant enhancement in measurement accuracy.
Abstract
By analyzing of data taken at a center-of-mass energy of 3.773~GeV with the BESIII detector, we measure the branching fractions of the Cabibbo-favored hadronic decays , and , which are determined to be , and , respectively. The precision of the branching fraction of is significantly improved, and the processes and are observed for the first time.
