GUP-Corrected Black Hole Thermodynamics and the Maximum Force Conjecture
Yen Chin Ong

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that black hole thermodynamics, even with generalized uncertainty principle corrections, implies a maximum force of c^4/(2G), discussing implications for the maximum force conjecture and literature discrepancies.
Contribution
It shows that GUP corrections do not alter the maximum force derived from black hole thermodynamics, clarifying subtleties and discrepancies in previous studies.
Findings
Maximum force remains c^4/(2G) with GUP corrections
Discussion of subtleties in the maximum force conjecture
Identification of discrepancies with prior literature
Abstract
We show that thermodynamics for an asymptotically flat Schwarzschild black hole leads to a force of magnitude . This remains true if one considers the simplest form of correction due to the generalized uncertainty principle. We comment on the maximum force conjecture, the subtleties involved, as well as the discrepancies with previous results in the literature.
