A vector meson dominance model for pions
G. B. Tupper

TL;DR
This paper develops a renormalizable vector meson dominance model for pions with a specific vacuum symmetry, providing predictions for scattering parameters that align with experimental data.
Contribution
It introduces a novel renormalizable non-abelian vector meson dominance model coupled to pions with SO(4,3) symmetry, advancing theoretical understanding.
Findings
Predictions for p-p scattering lengths match experiments
Model exhibits SO(4,3) vacuum symmetry
Tree-level results are in reasonable agreement with data
Abstract
A renormalizable non-abelian vector meson dominance model coupled to pions is constructed which exhibits a vacuum symmetry. Tree-level predictions for - scattering lengths and slopes at leading order are in reasonable agreement with experiment.
