Polarization Effects in Standard Model Parton Distributions at Very High Energies
Christian W. Bauer, Bryan R. Webber

TL;DR
This paper advances the understanding of Standard Model parton distribution functions by incorporating gauge boson polarization, electroweak boson PDFs, and NLO resummation, crucial for high-energy collider predictions.
Contribution
It introduces a comprehensive update to parton distribution functions including polarization effects, electroweak bosons, and higher-order resummation techniques.
Findings
Enhanced accuracy of PDFs at very high energies.
Inclusion of gauge boson polarization effects.
Implementation of next-to-leading-order resummation.
Abstract
We update the earlier work of Refs. arXiv:1703.08562 and arXiv:1712.07147 on parton distribution functions in the full Standard Model to include gauge boson polarization, non-zero input electroweak boson PDFs and next-to-leading-order resummation of large logarithms.
